Jatra HUM SAB EK

In September 2024, the Hum Sab Ek exhibition was prominently featured at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting in New York City, marking the onset of its next phase: Jatra—a traveling exhibition that catalyzes a series of dialogues at the intersection of gender, work, health, climate change, and resilience, first in the U.S. and then globally.

It was subsequently hosted at the World Bank headquarters, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation in Washington, D.C., and, most recently, at the International Labour Organization in Geneva. The exhibition aims to reframe knowledge generation and science communication, offering alternatives to dominant quantitative approaches in academic discourse. SEWA’s story is particularly significant, showcasing alternative strategies to better prepare for our rapidly changing climate.
